What we need to get started.
Requirements vary by age and year group. Our goal is to understand the student as a learner and person, not to create unnecessary barriers.
Early years
Ages 3-6Age-appropriate readiness conversation, previous nursery information where available, and family meeting.
Lower school
Ages 7-11Recent school report, short student conversation, and age-appropriate literacy/numeracy review.
Upper school
Ages 12-18Recent school reports, student interview, references where relevant, and subject-specific review for some year groups.

Scholarships & bursaries
Talent matters. Access matters too.
A limited number of means-tested bursaries and merit-based scholarships may be available. Funding decisions are separate from the core admissions review and may require supporting financial or achievement documentation.

When should we apply?
Families are encouraged to apply as early as possible. For September 2027 entry, 15 January 2027 is the priority application date; later applications are considered where places remain.
Can we visit before applying?
Yes. You can book a private campus visit or register for an open morning without starting an application.
Is financial support available?
Northstar offers a limited number of means-tested bursaries and merit-based scholarships. Availability and criteria vary by entry year.
What happens after we apply?
You will receive an application reference immediately. The admissions team then reviews the application and contacts you about any next steps.
Can international families apply?
Yes. International applications are welcome. Admissions will explain any additional documents or visa-related school documentation that may be needed.
